2006,

I'm cynical and optimistic at the same time. Everything that's FUCKED up can and will happen to you. But you can still laugh about it; doesn't that feel beyond good? Makes me feel nearly whole.

Smile, it's 2006 and that fucking rocks.

Bless'd, every day I've been alive and live since!

if that makes sense.

*giggle*

“Poetry saved my ass.”
Do read the entire interview with Rob Brezsney in Common Ground magazine, it's good for the soul

Jeff Buckley - New Year's Prayer (listen/buy via Amazon? or?)
(J. Buckley)

Jeff Buckley samples one of his father's songs in "Dream Brother", ask me which sometime in 2006 and I'll give you a hug

Oooooo
Fall in light, fall in light
Fall in light, fall in light.
Feel no shame for what you are
Feel no shame for what you are
Feel no shame for what you are
Feel no shame for what you are
Feel no shame for what you are
As you now are in your heart
Fall in light
Feel no shame for what you are
Feel no shame for what you are
Feel it as a water fall
Fall in light, ooh.
Fall in light, fall in light
Fall in light, ooh.
Fall in light, fall in light
Fall in light, Grow in light.
Stand absolved behind your electric chair, dancing.
Stand absolved behind your electric chair, dancing.
Past the sound within the sound
Past the voice within the voice.
Ah. Ah. Ah.
Leave your office, run past your funeral,
Leave your home, car, leave your pulpit.
Join us in the streets where we
Join us in the streets where we
Don't belong
Don't belong
You and the stars
Throwing light

Oooooo (repeat)
Fall, fall.
Ooooo
Fall in light, fall in light
Fall in light, ooh.
Fall in light, fall in light
Fall in light, Grow in light.

Yes, this amazing gem of a song is also the theme song for The Dead Zone in it's first season...mysteriously disappeared once ratings picked up :( Kinda like the time Madonna licensed/cross promoted the hell out of Ray of Light during Felicity's the first season.
