She is currently in production on The Golden Age, the sequel to Elizabeth, for which she won her first BAFTA for Actress in a Leading Role in 1998. She was also nominated for Actress in a Supporting Role in The Talented Mr Ripley and won a second BAFTA for her role as Katherine Hepburn in The Aviator.

Future projects include Todd Haynes‘ I’m Not There, in which she portrays a Young Bob Dylan, and David Fincher’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, in which she appears with her Babel co-star, Brad Pitt. - JJ
